Wood is currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced Draftsperson to support the creation and development of technical drawings for a project portfolio of work based in Laverton, Victoria.The Role The ideal candidate would be part of a project delivery team supporting the Senior Project Manager.What We Can Offer Meaningful and interesting projects Flexible working arrangements Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion Competitive remuneration package Flexible benefits Commitment to continued professional development Global connections ResponsibilitiesThe key objectives for this role are: Creates detailed and accurate technical drawings, including floor plans , elevations , cross-sections , and other specialized views, using CAD software Works closely with engineers and construction professionals to ensure designs are accurate, feasible, and meet project requirements Understands and interprets design concepts, specifications, and building codes , and translates them into technical drawings Specifies the materials, components, and processes required for construction based on the design Reviews drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards and regulations Makes necessary revisions to drawings based on feedback, changes in design, or new information Manages multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and provides accurate and timely work QualificationsWhat makes you remarkable?

Minimum 10 years' direct experience on projects in major hazards facilities (MHF) Experience on projects in the chemicals / agricultural sectors is highly desirable Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and oral Proven ability producing both rough sketches and detailed drawings using CAD software Proven ability to present drawings and models to clients Must be available to work onsite in Laverton, Victoria If you're an experienced Draftsperson ready for your next project, then we are keen to hear from you today.Candidates must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for this role.Apply now and take the next step in your career with this exciting opportunity
