Our client, a reputable legal firm based in **Adelaide CBD** seeks an experienced permanent full time **Legal Secretary** to join their team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Accurate Typing**: Perform precise word processing and typing tasks.
- **Document Preparation**: Transcribe and draft files and legal documents.
- **Diary Management**: Effectively manage schedules and appointments.
- **Correspondence**: Prepare documents and handle routine correspondence.
- **Filing Management**: Maintain and monitor filing systems, ensuring follow-up on all correspondence using database systems.
- **Client Interaction**: Manage incoming calls and welcome visitors.
- **Information Management**: Handle information using Excel spreadsheets and practice management systems (Open Practice).
- **Administrative Support**: Undertake various duties as required.
- **Professional Service Delivery**: Ensure all services are completed in a timely and professional manner.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Experience with transcribing from dictation recordings.
- Fast and accurate typing skills.
- Typist or legal secretarial background, coupled with a very strong eye for detail and accuracy with systems would be advantageous.
- Experience with formatting documents.
- Highly developed organisation and communication skills.
- The ability to operate independently with a high level of initiative.
