Shaft Miner

Join the **Fosterville** underground mining team as a **Shaft Miner** to assist with the installation of ventilation shafts to support the existing infrastructure of the gold mine. This is a great opportunity for an experienced shaft miner or service crew with an aptitude for mechanical equipment and a willingness to learn.

**About the role**
FIFO or BIBO from Melbourne airport
Family friendly 2:2 roster
High grade gold mine
$55/day food allowance provided
Quest self-contained accommodation
$70-$80 per hour (dependent on experience)

**About you**
- Previous experience as a Shaft Miner or in Service Crew on a similar project desirable
- Airleg experience highly desirable
- Experience with handheld mining machinery required
- IT ticket required
- Dangerous goods ticket required
- Working with heights ticket required
- Dogging ticket required
- Ability to work independently as well as a part of the team
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Current valid manual Australian drivers licence required
- Full ongoing Australian working rights required
- Willingness to complete a National Police Clearance and Pre-Employment Medical
