ABOUT THE ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse/Reach Forklift Operator to join our newly created Warehouse team in our brand new facility in Tarneit. This is a permanent, full time position with regular working hours of 9am - 5pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am - 4pm on Fridays.
The Warehouse Operator is responsible for efficiently managing the receipt of incoming stock including the storage, organisation, and movement of stock within the warehouse. This role involves operating the Reach forklift, processing stock, assisting in order fulfilment, shipping and receiving activities, and maintaining a safe and organised environment.
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will
- Receipt all incoming stock/merchandise, ensuring inspection and appropriate allocation of stock.
- Organise and store stock according to the warehouse system for easy retrieval.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with stock rotation.
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts (Reach Forklift) and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload shipments accurately.
- Assist with picking and packing merchandise for Retail, Wholesale, and eCommerce orders.
- Prepare and label goods for shipment.
- Handle and store garments on hangers, flat-packed stock, and accessories safely.
- Ensure orders are inspected and packed efficiently and correctly, meeting quality standards.
- Maintain organised and clean workspace.
- Ensure compliance with all V&W policies, procedures, and WHS requirements.
- Support the team in maintaining an organised storage system and keep track of inventory levels.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and report any hazards.

**Skills and Experiences**:
**YOU WILL BRING**:
Valid Forklift License (LF) and experience driving a Reach Forklift
Demonstrated experience operating forklifts in a Warehousing environment.
Experience in packing and shipping fashion merchandise and garments on hanger experience is highly regarded.
High attention to detail, especially during seasonal stock transitions.
Ability to handle a high volume of orders, particularly during seasonal peak times.
Basic knowledge of warehouse operations.
Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Strong understanding and commitment to safety practices
