DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Terminal Operator, Driver Desk in Goulburn.

The Gatehouse Officer is responsible for managing the secure and efficient movement of visitors, vehicles, and trucks in and out of the site. This role ensures that all entry and exit procedures are followed, records are maintained, and safety protocols are upheld.

**Your typical day at DSV**:
Access Control:

- Monitor / control entry and exit points for visitors, contractors, and vehicles.
- Verify identification and credentials of all site visitors.
- Issue visitor passes and log visitor information accurately.
- Direct visitors and trucks to the appropriate locations.

Vehicle and Truck Management:

- Check documentation for incoming and outgoing trucks.
- Record truck movements, including arrival and departure times.
- Ensure compliance with safety, load requirements and mass management.
- Inspect trucks for any unauthorized cargo as required.

Security & Safety:

- Report any suspicious activity or security breaches immediately.
- Enforce site safety protocols and traffic management rules.

Administration:

- Maintain accurate logs of all site entries and exits.
- Prepare and submit daily reports on site movements as required.
- Ensure that visitor and vehicle records are securely maintained.

**About you**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Understanding of site safety protocols and procedures.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.Previous experience in a similar or comparable role is preferred.
