ABOUT THE ROLE
We're seeking a strategic and hands-on Last Mile Freight Manager to lead our dispatch and transport operations across Australia.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers while ensuring safety, efficiency, and operational excellence across our distribution network.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and collaborate with third-party logistics partners to drive operational efficiencies.
Analyse and optimise transport network performance across multiple sites for cost and operational improvements.
Partner with stakeholders to plan and forecast resources, wages, and labour requirements accurately and efficiently.
Report on and present performance metrics with recommendations to key stakeholders.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Proven experience leading high-volume supply chain or transport operations, preferably in retail or FMCG.
Strong stakeholder management and contract negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport.
Analytical skills with expertise in budgeting, resource planning, and commercial decision-making.
A track record of driving results, process improvements, and motivating teams.
Knowledge of WMS / TMS / Manhattan systems is advantageous.
