As a Manager in the Future Fuels team, you'll be responsible for leading with optimism and influence, to deliver policy solutions to emerging, complex issues facing the sector and the rapidly developing industry.

In this role, you'll manage a diverse and talented team and foster a culture of learning and professional development.Here's what we're looking for: - demonstrated experience in the research and evaluation, development and implementation of policies and programs. demonstrated experience in contributing to the development and analysis of highlevel policy documents, guidance material, briefs and executive correspondence. demonstrated experience in managing time-sensitive, complex and competing tasks, in a fast-paced environment. ability to collaborate within a team environment, building and maintaining positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders through engagement and consultation
- highly developed verbal and written communication skills, proven to deliver clear,
concise and accurate advice targeted to internal and external stakeholders.
**As part of this role, you will**: - Provide and coordinate high level expert advice in relation to sustainable fuels policy, regulation and energy matters in general. Prepare strategic policy documents (submissions, technical reports, papers, statements, briefings, and correspondence) on complex and sensitive issues relating to development of Queensland's future fuels production pathways, supply chains and export potential, to inform Ministerial and senior executive decision-making. Lead with optimism and build and manage positive working relationships and partnerships with customers and stakeholders to ensure the views of stakeholders are captured and considered. Liaise, consult and negotiate with other Branches/Divisions, State Government and Commonwealth agencies, Government owned corporations and other energy sector entities, decarbonising industry customers and their representative bodies or groups in relation to sustainable liquid fuels issues and consumer concerns and policy and regulatory issues. Promote and support a workplace culture of equity, diversity, respect and inclusion, and proactively manage the work performance and personal conduct of your staff.
