My People Solutions Recruitment are currently seeking to fill three vacancies for a
Disability Support Worker
for evening & inactive overnight shifts in a mature all male 1:3 SIL House in Clyde North. Applicants should be reliable, committed to delivering quality care and have the
qualifications
and at least
2+ years
of disability support experience, including experience with adults with high physical support needs, ABIs, high intensity support needs and behaviours of concern.
Most shifts are evening & inactive overnight starting at 6pm and finishing at 6am the next morning, with the worker provided their own bedroom and bathroom during the hours of 10pm & 6am. Successful candidates may also be offered daytime shifts or shifts in other locations depending on skills, experience and availability.
Essential checks
: NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Check, First Aid/CPR, Working with Children Check, car & car licence are essential. A current medication administration and manual handling certificate, as well as attendance at regular in-house training sessions.
Experience
: At least 2+ years' experience as a disability support worker, with experience working with adults with high physical support needs, ABIs, high intensity support needs and behaviours of concern.
Note
: All support worker roles may include some level of personal care and assistance as a standard part of the role.
Minimum Requirements
At least 2+ years' experience as a disability support worker.
Experience with high physical support needs, ABIs, high intensity support needs and behaviours of concern, including restrictive practices.
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, Vaccinations (including COVID), CPR & First Aid, right to work in Australia, 100 Points of ID, Driving Licence and access to a reliable car are essential.
Cert III Individual Supports, Cert IV Disability and/or Mental Health Care Qualification, or equivalent are preferred.
Current medication administration and manual handling certification is required.
Full driving licence, access to a reliable car & comprehensive car insurance is essential.
Ability to communicate, problem solve and use life experience along with integrity, honesty & reliability are critical attributes for this role, as is a good sense of humour.
Ongoing online knowledge & skills development and regular onsite training sessions.

Disability Support Worker (Standard Level & High Intensity Level)
vacancies for in home, social & community and SIL supports in the Central, North, Northeast & Southeast metro suburbs of Melbourne.
Applicants must have
at least 2+ years of disability support worker experience
, experience of working with adults and children with high intensity support needs and/or behaviours of concern, be able to evidence commitment to the role through ongoing personal development & learning, and be able to demonstrate understanding of the compliance requirements & professional boundaries of the role. Applicants should enjoy working as part of a team and be committed to delivering quality care.
With a variety of roles all applicants must be flexible or able to commit to be available to work on certain days / times at least 6 weeks ahead as well as being able to travel to more than one client's home a day, making a current driving licence and car essential.
NDIS WORKER SCREENING CHECK, POLICE CHECK, FIRST AID/CPR, WORKING WITH CHILDREN CHECK, CAR & CAR LICENCE ARE ESSENTIAL. Some roles also require a current medication administration and/or manual handling certificate as well as being available to attend regular paid training sessions.
Immediate starts available for some roles where successful applicants are able to provide all up to date documents, licences, checks & certifications.
Applicants with experience working with clients with high support needs including behaviours of concern, and who can commit to evenings, early mornings and inactive overnight sleepover shifts will be highly regarded.
Minimum Requirements
At least 2+ years' experience as a disability support worker.
Experience with Autism/ADHD, Mental Health, Diabetes, Epilepsy, Intellectual Disabilities, Young Adults, Dementia & Advanced Manual Handling Supports, Behaviours of Concern and Restrictive Practices will be highly regarded.
Flexibility on days, times and location; ability to commit to be available to work at least 4 weeks ahead is valued.

We are seeking a compassionate, motivated and experienced Community Support Worker to join Platinum All Care. The successful candidate will assess needs, deliver tailored support services, and connect individuals to appropriate community resources.
Key Responsibilities
Assess clients' needs and plan, develop, and implement tailored educational, training, and support programs.
Conduct interviews to determine the nature and extent of difficulties faced by clients, including emotional, financial, and social issues.

Qualifications
A certificate of qualification in Community Services, Social Work, Youth Work, or related field (preferred but not required).
Other Requirements
Proven experience in client assessment, case management, and community engagement.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse groups.
Strong knowledge of community services, welfare systems, and support programs.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Understanding of confidentiality, duty of care, and professional ethics.
