This role involves working across civil infrastructure and land development projects, producing high-quality documentation to support engineering delivery across roads, subdivisions, and utilities. You'll be part of a collaborative team and contribute to NSW-based projects from concept through to construction.
What You'll Do
Prepare civil design drawings for roads, subdivisions, earthworks, and utilities
Use AutoCAD to produce accurate 2D documentation in line with project and client requirements
Support senior drafters and engineers across various stages of design
Interpret mark-ups and deliver clear, coordinated drawing sets
Assist with QA processes, drawing registers, and file management
Maintain strong attention to detail and consistency across all work
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers as part of a multidisciplinary team
What You'll Need
2–3 years' experience in civil drafting, ideally across roads and land development
Proficiency in AutoCAD
(Civil 3D experience a bonus, not essential)
Strong understanding of civil design standards and construction documentation
Experience with local government or TfNSW standards highly regarded
Ability to interpret engineering plans and deliver accurate, high-quality outputs
Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
