The **Future Generation Joint Venture** brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design construct **Snowy 2.0**. This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.

**Purpose of the Role**:
The position of Traffic & Transport Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination and execution of traffic and transport-related activities across the Snowy 2.0 Project's construction sites to ensure the safe and efficient flow of vehicles, materials and personnel.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications in traffic management and safety are advantageous.
- Knowledge of local and international traffic regulations and standards.
- Driver's Licence
- White Card
**Experience**:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in traffic management and transportation coordination, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proven experience in tunnelling projects or similar large-scale construction projects.
- Familiarity with traffic management software and tools.
**Required Competencies**:
- In-depth knowledge of traffic management principles, regulations and best practices.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
- Proficiency in coordinating transportation activities, including vehicle and material logistics.
- Familiarity with local and international safety regulations and standards related to traffic management in construction.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with project teams, stakeholders, and transportation authorities.
- Ability to identify and address traffic and transport-related challenges effectively.
- Sound decision-making skills to ensure the safe and efficient flow of traffic within the construction site.
- Comfortable with traffic management software, tools, and technologies.
- Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Strong Initiative and proactive nature
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed time management skills
- High attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
**Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities**:
- Plan and coordinate traffic and transportation activities across all Snowy 2.0 Project construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, construction crews and transportation providers to coordinate vehicle and material logistics.
- Ensure that traffic and transport activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Facilitate effective communication between project teams, transportation authorities and stakeholders regarding traffic management plans.
- Address traffic and transport-related challenges promptly to minimize disruptions and enhance efficiency.
- Make informed decisions to optimize traffic flow and transport logistics within the construction site.
- Effectively use traffic management software and tools to monitor, analyse and improve traffic and transport operations.
- Lead and support the transportation and traffic management teams to ensure a cohesive and efficient operation.
- Maintain accurate records of traffic management plans, incidents, and transportation schedules.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in traffic and transport operations.
