Reporting to the QA Manager ANZ, this role is responsible for developing, planning and directing in-plant quality assurance programs to ensure that raw materials and finished products conform to ARYZTA quality specifications, standards, legislative compliance and customer expectations in a high care environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plans and directs in-plant quality assurance programs to ensure that raw materials and finished products conform to ARYZTA quality specifications, standards and customer expectations.
- Audits the established process control checks and quality systems on a continuous basis and provides designated persons with a daily report of the findings.
- Maintains comprehensive Quality Assurance manual which includes current technical data and applicable company standards and policies.
- Develops and recommends quality specifications and standards for raw materials, the production process and finished products on a continual basis.
- Provides ongoing training and development of all employees concerning product quality, customer satisfaction and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Conducts product shelf-life, product evaluation and laboratory tests on an ongoing/as needed basis and records and distributes all test results in a timely and accurate manner.
- Develops and manages Vendor Assurance program and completes Vendor Audits.
- Regulatory Affairs - ensures regulatory compliance for Food Safety, Quality and Trade Practice requirements in the area of Food.
- Nutritional Surveillance - develops, reviews and verifies nutrition programs for health claims.
- Process Control - conducts ongoing product research to identify areas of improvement.
- Product Development - ensures compliance to the process of new and existing products from concept to launch.
- Food safety culture
- drives and coordinates the onsite food safety initiatives, ensuring ARYZTA's food safety culture ambassador SIFIRI remains ALIVE.

**About You**

To be successful in this role you will be passionate about delivering quality solutions You will be action-orientated with the confidence to develop close working relationships key stakeholders across the business.
- 8 years + QA Management in a similar high risk role within FMCG environment
- Proven experience in leading a Team
- Relevant qualification in Food Technology; Food Science, Chemistry or Microbiology
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, HACCP, Internal Auditing, Food Safety Legislation
- Intermediate MS Office skill
