Project Security Officer, Data Centre Security

AWS Infrastructure Operations – Physical Security are looking for exceptional Project Security Officer's to assist with the management and delivery of project security requirements on an upcoming large-scale project.
These are site-based roles, responsible for assisting our project team to manage physical security, in line with client security requirements and the project security plan.
You must obsess over internal and external customers and successfully deliver support and services in an environment where priorities shift extremely fast. You must be able to operate independently to manage security projects, continuously triage and prioritize accordingly, communicate clearly and compellingly (without PowerPoint), Think Big and outside the box, and Deliver Results.
Key job responsibilities
Serve as the AWS primary security liaison maintaining daily communication with Regional Security Manager, Data Centre Security Manager, client security representatives, certifying authorities and other relevant personnel.
Provide comprehensive security oversight throughout the construction phase, ensuring delivery of fit-for-purpose and certifiable facilities through attendance at security assurance Hold and Witness Point inspections.
Collation of security assurance reports to the AWS Security Assurance Team. Document and track security-related issues and incidents.
Appropriate management, response and recording of any security issues or incidents occurring throughout the construction phase as per the Security Response Plan.
Monitor and maintain compliance with project security requirements, proactively identifying potential security risks and implementing mitigation strategies throughout the construction phase.
Ability to facilitate meetings with clients, resolve issues, and report on matters relating to security compliance.
Bring high-level attention to detail, and a meticulous, process driven approach.
Experience in construction security oversight or related field is highly desirable.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years' experience working in a Physical Security Operations position.
Demonstrated knowledge of Physical Security best practices which includes the application of Physical Security Systems, Investigation Techniques and Security Incident Management.
Demonstrable experience managing Security Operations in complex environments.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working in a high security environment.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and can learn quickly.
Driven to provide your internal and external customers with responsive and unparalleled support and you are dedicated to meet and fulfill the customer's expectations.
Desire to step outside the box and your comfort zone to take ownership of projects and domains not in your range of expertise.
