People like us.About the RoleThe Bar Team Leader is responsible for leading and supervising a team of food and beverage associates to ensure smooth and efficient outlet operations.
This role focuses on delivering high-quality service, managing staff performance, and contributing to the overall success of the outlet.Some responsibilities include:Supervising and supporting Food and Beverage employees to ensure exceptional serviceProviding on-the-job training and briefings to enhance product knowledge, upselling, and customer engagementCollaborating with the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager on new cocktails, themed menus, and signature offeringsManaging bar inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stock takesEnsuring guest needs are met promptly and professionallyResolving guest complaints effectivelyAssisting in daily operations, including opening and closing proceduresHandling stock transfers and requisitionsQualificationsThe successful candidate will have:Previous Food & Beverage experience in a hotel or similar fast-paced environmentA valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificateExcellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skillsA professional appearance and understanding of 5-star grooming standardsFlexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidaysThorough understanding of beverage service, including mixology and wine knowledgeJoin Hyatt for a world of opportunities.
