Key Responsibilities

Care Delivery:
Ensure the delivery of person-centered care to patients, addressing their specific medical, physical, and emotional needs.

Team Leadership:
Manage and lead a team of nurses, caregivers, and support staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.

Care Planning:
Oversee the development and implementation of individual care plans for each patient, considering their unique health requirements and preferences.

Medication Management:
Ensure proper administration and management of medications for patients, adhering to prescribed schedules and protocols.

Communication:
Communicate effectively with patients' families or legal guardians, providing updates on their loved one's condition and involving them in care decisions when appropriate.

Crisis Management:
Handle emergency situations and critical incidents promptly and effectively.
">
The ideal candidate will have current AHPRA registration, minimum 2 years' experience in aged care as a registered nurse, knowledge of aged care accreditation standards, and expertise in medication administration and wound care.
