Design Switchboards is a leading manufacturer of high-quality electrical switchboards. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated **Electrical Switchboard Fitter** to join our busy workshop team in Yatala.

**Your Role**

As a Switchboard Fitter, you will be responsible for the assembly and wiring of custom-built switchboards. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

- Assembling and fitting components onto switchboard chassis.
- Wiring control circuits and power distribution systems.
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and layout drawings.
- Ensuring all work meets high-quality standards and complies with specifications.
- Collaborating with the workshop team to meet production deadlines.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- **Proven experience** in electrical switchboard manufacturing, fitting, or wiring.
- The ability to confidently read and work from electrical drawings and schematics.
- A strong understanding of electrical components and assembly techniques.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
- A positive attitude and a reliable work ethic.
- Relevant trade qualifications are highly regarded but not essential.

Pay: $35.08 - $50.00 per hour
