**The role**:
Reporting to the Technical Delivery Manager, the Principal Technical Specialist will deliver, monitor, and report on multiple project activities against agreed criteria. This role provides comprehensive ICT architectures and design for enterprise ICT portfolios providing strategic direction, project management support to Clients and our Project Management teams

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Manage the definition, documentation, and successful completion of multiple large-scale ICT projects in line with Queensland Health's project management methodologies.
- Promote and ensure use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies, and tools, including benefits realisation and risk and issue management, to ensure quality project outcomes are delivered.
- Manage, monitor, and report on project related trends and performance against project plans and schedules.
- Manage and monitor resources, expenses, and capital costs against project forecasts.
- Establish and maintain procedures relating to project procurement processes.
- Plan and coordinate and monitor the delivery of specialised ICT work packages relating to the procurement of ICT Services.
- Manage all project documentation and produce required reports in alignment with Information Management System requirements.

- Have demonstrated experience working in large complex ICT projects, including planning, preparing, managing technical project deliverables
- Extensive experience in building and managing enterprise-scale cloud solutions in AWS
- Cloud Automation (CloudFormation, Lambda)
- Azure Active Directory
- Identity & Federation Services
- Scripting Languages (PowerShell, Python, AWS CLI, etc)
- Microsoft Windows Server and Linux Server (OS)
- DNS / DHCP
- Cloud Connectivity (Direct Connect)
- Cloud Adoption Framework and Landing Zones (preferred)
- Demonstrate your ability to provide sound advice and recommendations on the use of appropriate project and / or change management techniques, methodologies and tools to ensure solutions are fit for purpose
- Experience in technology design including integration of technologies and have specialist knowledge in one of the following architecture domains:
