**The role**: The Principal Technical Specialist (Gateways) is required to provide advanced expert technical advice and support within eHealth Queensland for internet gateways and firewall services within eHealth Queensland.
Also, this position provides high-level technical direction, standardisation and support of enterprise infrastructure including internet gateways and firewalls for eHealth Queensland.

**To achieve this you will**:

- Promote and utilise best practice standards, methods and tools
- Ensure consistency with agreed enterprise and solution architectures
- Conduct installation and configuration of software, hardware and/or equipment
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of relevant technical specialties
- Support the development, publication, implementation and compliance of project deliverables
- Conduct complex IM/ICT change management procedures utilising best practice frameworks
- Actively collaborate within a team of specialist technical resources to drive best outcomes in the delivery of complex technical solutions

Is this opportunity for you?To be successful in this role you will have a high level of understanding in Enterprise Solutions Domains as well as a demonstrated ability in designing, configuring and documenting enterprise systems within best practice IM/ICT design and delivery frameworks. Your experience should include expertise in:

- Internet gateways and firewall services
- External Access solutions
- Load balancing technologies

**Accreditation and experience in the following technologies**:

- CheckPoint firewall administration and configuration
- F5 Load balancer administration and configuration
- Cloud Security (AWS, AXURE)
