Hudson has partnered with a large Federal Department and is seeking to engage multiple enthusiastic APS4 Policy Officers.

These roles are based in Canberra however remote applicants from across Australia will be considered.

Please note you must be an Australian citizen to be considered for these positions. Baseline security clearance is preferred, however not essential.

The team is very supportive and friendly, there will be great development opportunities and you will join a branch that does good things for our planet.
- Research and analysis of the economic, financial and political impacts of reducing emissions and improving safety in domestic waterways
- Contribute to policy development, including the ability to investigate and source key information to support decision-making.
- Assisting with the ongoing administrative and information management requirements of departmental programs

**Essential skills/experience required**:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to collate and asses information within specific guidelines to determine an appropriate course of action
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly
- Ability to manage and analyze data to guide decision making activities
- Law, Science, Chemistry, Policy, Environmental graduates are encouraged to apply
- A passion for current environmental issues
