Our Eastern Creek Depot as seeking an experienced Transport Operations Manager.
- This is a hands-on role with an opportunity to make a difference._

**What will you be doing?**
- Manage Branch operations, labour and vehicle resources in order to achieve delivery and service objectives both local and interstate
- Controlling and managing service delivery
- Co-ordinate the inbound and outbound freight ensuring all collection and deliveries are done in a timely manner
- Manage and lead the operations personnel ensuring adherence to standard procedures.
- Maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Comply with company policy and legislative requirements relation to Work Health and Safety, COR, storage and handling of dangerous goods, traffic laws and Federal and State Government Regulations.
- Manage operational costs against budgets and targets as set by the State Manager.
- Manage and maintain property, plant and site security.

- The ability to liaise with sales, admin and operational personnel
- Computer Literacy
- Outstanding customer service focus
- Previous experience in a logistics environment
- Transport Industry experience
- A proven track record of over achievement in planning and scheduling
- Forklift Licence - desired
