Business Planner

**Position**:
As the **Business Planner**for LVMH Watches & Jewelry in Australia, you will play a key role in driving commercial and operational excellence across our prestigious Maisons: TAG Heuer, Zenith, Hublot. Based in Melbourne and reporting to the Business Planning & Analysis Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end supply and demand planning process, supporting sales forecasting and budgeting, and contributing to strategic analysis and reporting. You will work cross-functionally with commercial, operations, and HQ teams to optimize stock levels, enhance forecasting accuracy, and improve overall business performance.

**Job responsibilities**:
1/ SUPPLY PLANNING
- Maximize sell-out opportunities by ensuring optimum stock levels across all channels (Boutiques, Franchises, Ecom, Central).
- Manage quota timepieces supply to ensure fast sell-out and optimum Sell Out/Sell In (SO/SI) ratios.
- Manage backorder allocations.
- Fulfill stock availability requests from Area Managers (AMs) and Boutique Managers (BMs) for special orders.
- Coordinate stock transfers between markets and special orders to HQ, including follow-up.
- Handle periodic internal/staff sales.
- Identify opportunities to enhance demand planning processes and improve overall supply chain efficiency

2/ DEMAND PLANNING
- Comply with HQ Anaplan demand planning process and attend demand/supply planning meetings.
- Prepare product order forecasts in Anaplan according to brand guidelines and customer demands.
- Liaise with key internal stakeholders on novelties forecasting.
- Submit monthly product forecasts for both local and export markets.
- Challenge demand planning against actual supply.
- Track forecast accuracy and identify areas for improvement. Implement course correction plan, aiming at improving the forecast accuracy.
- Prepare reports and presentations on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning and forecasting.
- Implement strategies to enhance forecasting processes.

3/ ASSIST THE BPA WITH
- On-Time & Accurate Reporting:

- Submit weekly sales best estimates with high-quality comments to HQ after discussion with commercial teams for all brands.
- Contribute to the preparation of end-of-month sales reports and ensure high-quality comments are submitted to HQ.
- Prepare monthly stock-in-trade reports.
- Handle end-of-day reporting.
- Calculate rebates and incentives.
- Budgeting
- Collaborate with commercial teams for sales forecasting and reviews.
- Prepare presentations for HQ with high-quality comments during the budget period.
- Work with the finance team for COGS planning to the gross margin line.
- Analysis
- Conduct performance management analysis (Product, Channel, Margin, Average Retail Selling Price (ARSP), SO/SI).
- Perform ad-hoc analyses as required.
- Assistance on HQ or locally driven projects
- Support local cross-departmental projects on distribution strategy.
- Cooperate closely with the Swiss Head Office on transversal sales operations projects.
- Master data management

4/ AD-HOC
- Assist the Finance & Operations Manager and General Manager in preparing ad-hoc financial presentations and projects.
- Assist in preparing business reviews for market visit, and wholesale partners.

**Profile**:

- Bachelor Degree or above with some years of experience in business analysis.
- Proficiency in analysing data, identifying trends, and developing forecasts.
- Experience with forecasting software and tools.
- Experience in implementing initiatives aiming at improving performance.
- Experience in Stakeholder management.
- High proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint is a must.
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
- It would be an advantage to have prior experience in wholesale & retail industry.
