**Festivals & Major Events Manager**

**Clerk Grade 9-10, Ongoing Full time**

An exciting new opportunity is now available for a Festivals & Major Events Manager. The role is responsible for leading the development and implementation of the integrated festival and major events programs across Powerhouse Parramatta, Powerhouse Museum Ultimo, Powerhouse Castle Hill and the Sydney Observatory. The annual program will feature festivals and major events conceived and delivered in collaboration with existing local, national, and international festivals and major events.

To be successful, you will have:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in project management, event management and other related fields.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, negotiate, influence effectively, and establish relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively on complex projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in leading the development and implementation of festivals and major events for a large organisation or institution.
