Overview
As an Adhesive Bonding Operator, you'll join the Protection Team – working alongside four specialist groups: Finishing, Press, Water Jet and Material Cutting.
About the role
The Adhesive Bonding Operator plays a key role in the production of composite armour panels, supporting both the assembly and finishing processes. This includes preparing materials and components prior to bonding, ensuring all surfaces are properly treated, and assisting with the accurate placement and curing of adhesives. You will also contribute to quality control by inspecting parts for defects and ensuring compliance with safety and manufacturing standards throughout the production process.

Previous experience working with adhesive bonding or composites;
Experience working with vacuum sealing equipment or performing adhesive repairs under vacuum;
The willingness to be trained on cutting equipment and cross-trained on other Armour Shop equipment;
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team in a production environment;
Ability to follow instructions and work autonomously; and
Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
