Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Auto Electrician based in Mackay, QLD.
The Auto Electrician will be responsible for daily electrical maintenance, fault finding, and electrical repairs.
Tasks include diagnosing electrical issues, performing routine maintenance, repairing electrical components, and ensuring all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
This role requires close collaboration with the maintenance team to ensure the reliability and performance of equipment.
Responsibilities
Perform daily electrical maintenance and fault finding on equipment.
Diagnose electrical issues and carry out repairs or component replacements as needed.
Conduct routine maintenance to ensure reliability and performance of equipment.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to support asset uptime and safety.
Qualifications
Electrical maintenance and fault-finding skills
Experience with maintenance and repair of electrical systems
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety standards
Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical systems
Previous experience in the mining, industrial, or transport sectors is advantageous
