Joyce Mechanical Services is looking for a qualified
Auto Electrician
to join our Mackay workshop on a
7:7 or 5:2 residential roster
. This dayshift-only role involves working on
heavy earthmoving equipment
in a purpose-built facility, with the benefit of
being home every night
.
You'll be part of a strong, family-oriented team that takes pride in delivering high-quality service to the mining and civil sectors.
What We Offer
$53/hr
full-time or
$60/hr casual
Super paid on all hours
Variety of work across multiple machine types
Overtime is available if desired
Dedicated electrical bay and tooling
Flexibility for family commitments

What You'll Be Doing
Electrical rebuild work on heavy earthmoving machines
Creating/repairing custom harnesses
Fault finding and diagnostics
Rewiring and cabin overhauls
Air conditioning repairs (if licensed)
Accessory / auxiliary system fit-outs
What We're Looking For
1–2 years post-trade experience (ideal)
Previous experience with heavy earthmoving equipment
Air Conditioning Licence (highly regarded)
Commitment to quality and safety
