Critical Environment Instrumentation Engineer

Responsibilities Maintaining ICS availability, data quality, service and change management, reporting, and the security of all ICS systems in the Data Centers.
Site level ICS program and project management, governing and participating in global initiatives related to ICS systems.
Managing, servicing, and governing Microsoft's electrical and mechanical industrial control systems (ICS) within mission-critical datacenters.
Governing logical and physical access, approval, and permissions for all ICS systems, networks, workstations, and servers involved in datacenter monitoring and controls.
Promoting a culture of safety and security in global datacenter operations by complying with safety programs and completing compliance assessments.
Developing positive relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years of technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, service engineering, or systems engineering, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or applicable field experience in Critical Environments, Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical.
3+ years of experience in operational, mission-critical, 24x7x365 facilities.
1.5+ years of experience in designing or commissioning Industrial Controls Systems (ICS) in datacenter environments, including Modbus and BACnet protocols.
2+ years of experience with electrical and mechanical systems operation and maintenance.
Project management experience with agile methodologies.
Ability to interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and documents.
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong reporting skills for success metrics.
Understanding of Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS), Building Automation Systems (BAS), and Battery Monitoring Systems (BMS).
