Melbourne City Institute of Education (MCIE) is seeking passionate and qualified Trainers & Assessors to deliver the VETDSS program in Early Childhood Education and Care. If you are experienced in VET delivery, love working with students, and have industry expertise, we'd love to hear from you

**About the Role**:

- **Schedule**: Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9am to 5pm
- **Location**: Sunshine, West Victoria and Tarneit
- **Students**: 1st Year VETDSS ECEC Program
- **Visits**: Trainers must visit students at placement during the school term
- **Start Date**: Tuesday, 28th January 2025

While based in Sunshine, there may be opportunities to deliver training at other locations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver engaging, structured, and flexible training sessions that meet the needs of the industry and student cohort.
- Prepare, conduct, and document training and assessment using approved plans and materials.
- Accurately maintain training records and submit assessment results to the Course Coordinator.
- Support students in developing employability skills and preparing for further education or employment.
- Evaluate training programs and contribute to the validation of learning and assessment materials.
- Keep up-to-date with industry regulations and accreditation requirements.
- Communicate with teaching staff and report on student welfare, attendance, and progress.

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent).
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care with current industry skills and knowledge.
- VIT Full Registration or Permission to Teach (PTT).
- Experience delivering and assessing VETDSS programs.
- Strong communication and Microsoft Office skills.

**Pre-Employment Requirements**:
