Trainer and Assessor for Early Childhood Education

We are seeking a qualified Trainer and Assessor to deliver the VETDSS program in Early Childhood Education and Care.

About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging, structured, and flexible training sessions that meet the needs of the industry and student cohort.
  • Prepare, conduct, and document training and assessment using approved plans and materials.
  • Accurately maintain training records and submit assessment results to the Course Coordinator.
  • Support students in developing employability skills and preparing for further education or employment.
  • Evaluate training programs and contribute to the validation of learning and assessment materials.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and accreditation requirements.
  • Communicate with teaching staff and report on student welfare, attendance, and progress.

Skill Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent).
  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care with current industry skills and knowledge.
  • VIT Full Registration or Permission to Teach (PTT).
  • Experience delivering and assessing VETDSS programs.
  • Strong communication and Microsoft Office skills.
