**About The Role**:
Are you ready to elevate your career? Compare the Market is seeking an experienced Revenue Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in optimising our revenue streams and ensuring financial integrity. Reporting to the Revenue Assurance Manager, you'll have the opportunity to drive revenue assurance initiatives, working closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

As a Revenue Assurance Analyst, you'll be hands-on in identifying risks, implementing controls, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You'll contribute to the business strategy by providing insightful analysis, leading initiatives to enhance revenue reporting accuracy, and mentoring the team in process improvements. This role blends strategic insight with operational execution, ensuring our revenue operations are robust and efficient.

**What You'll Do**:

- Use Revenue Assurance tools and systems to provide governance for revenue and cost transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies.
- Manage, query, validate, and analyse partner invoices, recipient-created tax invoices, and vertical transaction data to ensure full payment from partners.
- Develop and optimise existing controls to identify and maximise revenue opportunities.
- Reconcile invoices and work closely with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and commercial teams to ensure proper communication and processing.
- Investigate data and invoice anomalies, conducting trend analysis on revenue data and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain documentation of processes and procedures, regularly reviewing them to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Commercial teams, Data & IT departments, and Finance to facilitate adherence to contractual terms, SLAs, and reporting structures.
- Deliver exception reports, manage recovery efforts, and provide insights to drive process improvements across the organisation.
- Engage in cross-functional teamwork, working closely with the data, commercial, and finance groups to ensure accuracy and timeliness in reporting.

**What You'll Bring**:

- At least 2 years of experience in the financial services industry within a medium to large organisation Is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis, financial reporting, and Excel functions, including advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with SQL queries, working with Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL databases, and some familiarity with TM1 and Cognos Reporting (or a willingness to learn).
- Tertiary qualifications in Economics, Business, Finance, Commerce, Financial Accounting, Risk and Assurance, or related disciplines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work across teams and engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to work autonomously, effectively prioritising tasks in a fast-paced environment while being a collaborative team player.
- Some understanding of accounting principles is highly regarded, though not mandatory.
- An eye for detail and the ability to investigate and resolve data or financial anomalies.
