NSW Govt team requires a Financial Analyst with strong reporting skills for 6 month contract. SAP ideal.

**Your new company**

A government team responsible for corporate reporting and advice to a number of key government divisions requires a strong financial analyst to join their team on a 6 month contract. Located in Parramatta with flex work options.

**Your new role**

As a strong analyst with a background in financial reporting and budgeting using SAP, your key duties will include:

- Prepare management reports, budgets, and forecasts for a number of divisions
- Provide financial advice, analysis and insights to a range of stakeholders
- Prepare and update performance reporting and monthly forecasting analytical models for divisions, entities and cost centres
- Assist with annual budgeting processes
- Ensuring accuracy of financial information within monthly reporting processes
- Provide analytical support services to ad hoc requests and new business cases
- Manage General Ledger accounts, month end and year end processes for nominated Divisions and entities and reconciling these with financial management reports.
- Expert user for key information systems for your stakeholders including SAP

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Solid monthly management reporting, budgeting and forecasting experience in a larger organisation with multiple information systems
- Strong analytical skills and ability to provide insights and recommendations to key stakeholders
- Advanced Excel skills, SAP and exposure to Business information tools
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting and ideally CA or CPA qualified.
- Immediately Available to start
