About The RoleThe Community Support worker is responsible for delivering basic support services to clients in accordance with their care plan.

Priorities include:Assisting with travel to appointments, shopping, or community access.Domestic assistance- cleaning, meal preparation and washing.Medication assistance- paid training available at Grade 3 Level.Personal Care- paid training at Grade 3 Level.We have multiple Grade 2 positions available to support consumers with transport and domestic assistance.
Grade 3 workers can grow and develop their career with paid training in personal care and medication assistance.We are looking for new employees who have Monday-Friday availability more hours are offered to people who can work outside of this timeframe.For full details of the duties a, please refer to the Position Description.Selection CriteriaMust have reliable, roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance and current Australian Driver's License;First Aid (less than 3 years old) and CPR (less than 12 months old).
Thoughtful and considerate towards othersYou'll be adaptable, empathetic and reliability with a strong commitment to workAbility to communicate effectively with consumers, families and all levels of staffIntermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft teams and Client Care systemsSelf-motivated and outcome orientated.Highly efficient with proven time management skillsDesirableIdeally, you'll have a Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or Individual Support or an equivalent qualification.
