- Tuggerah Lakes Corps is a community-focused church, partnering with the wider community to help transform one life at a time with the love of Jesus. This is achieved through our Sunday School, Seniors Group, Sunday Morning Worship, Ladies Evening Fellowship and many more of our programs.

We are seeking a values-driven and dedicated Families Ministry Worker, reporting to the Corps Officers. You will coordinate and facilitate the development of faith pathways for children, young people and young families on the Central Coast.

This is a permanent part-time 25 hours per week position located in Tuggerah Lakes.

You will successfully
- Coordinate Faith Pathways, Activities and Programs
- Engage and build relationships with key internal & external stakeholders to ensure quality service delivery
- Safely and creatively find ways to integrate ministry and mission across all generations for the purpose of intergenerational relationship building
- Identify and respond to the pastoral and spiritual needs of families within our Corps and our community network and partnerships
- Oversee, manage and pastorally support a growing team of volunteers

You will have
- A strong commitment to the Christian faith and mission of The Salvation Army and willingness to be involved in the Corps
- An ability to offer pastoral assistance, to offer prayer and to explain the Christian Gospel
- Experience in volunteer management (desirable)
- Experience working with different cultures
- Diploma of Chaplaincy or Pastoral Care (desirable)
- Certificate III in Community Services or equivalent (desirable)
- A valid Employee Working with Children check/Blue Card
- A current Driver's licence
- A willingness to undergo a National Police check
