**About the role**
As the **Heavy Vehicle Compliance Officer,** you will oversee all aspects of heavy vehicle compliance as governed by the Heavy Vehicle National Law and Regulations (NHVL). Your extensive administrative experience navigating the operations of the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR), and your ability to demonstrate aspects of maintaining compliance will be heavily sought after.

This role is based at either our Head Office at Wellcamp or our Wacol Offices - Qld.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Ensuring management are updated on compliance activities such as driver training, maintenance inspections and vehicle compliance, include any non-conformance
- Responsible for the registration and permits for the heavy vehicle fleet
- Manage vehicle tracking and driver monitoring systems, including audit driver activities
- Point of contact between the company and the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator
- Keep abreast of regulation changes which impact the operation of the heavy vehicle fleet and escalate to operational managers t

**About You**

To be successful in this role:

- Proven experience in NHVR compliance and auditing, which includes using the NHVR online portal
- Proven experience preparing reports for management
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Excellent prioritisation and time management skills

**Qualifications (**_Desirable)_
- Certificate II/III in Transport and Logistics
- Accredited - NHVRAS
- Statements of Attainment in Implementation or Application of Fatigue Management Strategies
- Certification in First Aid including CPR
- Construction White Card Queensland
