Position Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Emergency Veterinary Nurse to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch care to animals in emergency situations, contributing to the overall success and reputation of ARH Baulkham Hills.
Responsibilities
Provide excellent nursing care to patients in emergency and critical care situations.
Assist veterinarians in medical procedures and surgeries.
Monitor and assess patient vital signs.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing updates on patient status and offering support.
Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
Participate in continuous education to stay current with advancements in veterinary nursing.
Qualifications
Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of experience post qualification.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures.
