Join SAGE Automation as a Graduate Engineer to work on industrial automation projects with a leading Australian control systems integrator.

Your Role

Here's what you will be doing:

  • Work on industrial automation projects from kick-off to handover, including design documentation, PLC RTU and SCADA programming, factory acceptance testing, on-site commissioning, and hand-over documentation.
  • Liaise with management and internal staff to assist with technical delivery and project execution.
  • Collaborate within a supportive team environment alongside junior and senior Engineers, providing project assistance to Project Managers and Support Technicians.
  • Assist Estimators with the development of proposals and tender bids.
About You

The company is looking for:

  • Based in Sydney or willing to relocate with current Australian Work Rights.
  • Undergraduate or recent graduate of Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering, eligible for state-based engineering registration in Electrical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems (desirable).
  • Basic understanding of electrical circuit fundamentals.
  • High computer competency, particularly with MS Office.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic, proactive, and resourceful with a great attitude.
  • Strong desire and interest to work within the automation industry.
