**Organisation**

With about 100 employees in Sydney, this growing Accounting firm are dedicated to ensuring their associates are provided with an environment geared towards the recognition of achievement, growth, safety and well-being.

With offices based in Sydney CBD, they are on the lookout for an IT Manager with good project management skills and solid technical skills across IT Infrastructure to take the lead on important projects and work on their IT strategy and its delivery with a particular focus on Cloud and Security.

**Position**

Working closely with the business, some of your key responsibilities will be:

- Input into the organisations' IT strategy, taking into account latest Cloud and Security trends.
- Roll out the IT strategy
- Manage relationship with third-party outsourced IT MSP (Managed Service Provider)
- Manage relationships with external software, telecommunications and technology vendors to ensure best practice technology solutions.
- Manage and deliver key IT projects.
- Documentation of IT procedures and processes.
- Identify and drive efficiency enhancements and investigate improvements and new technologies to improve the firm.
- Manage IT expenditure against the IT budget.
- Respond to requests for IT support across the business for users and staff to troubleshoot and resolve issues, in conjunction with MSP Service Desk.

**Technical requirements**
- Previous experience working as an IT Manager in medium size organisations, preferably within professional services organisations -Accounting, Financial Services, Law firms, etc.
- Clear, confident communication skills both written and oral.
- Experience working with external vendors and service providers
- Experience with computer networks and infrastructure (including Windows, O365, AV, Azure), administration and network installation.
- Previous experience in IT Project Management a plus
- Strong building and relationship management skills
- IT degree or equivalent qualification and relevant IT certifications
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
