About usThe Australian and Queensland governments have jointly committed $9 billion—an 80:20 funding arrangement—for the Bruce Highway Targeted Safety Program (BHTSP), marking the largest single investment in the highway to date.

It builds on over $6 billion in planned investment under the Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program (QTRIP) 2024-25 to 2027-28.
