**Role Overview**:
We are seeking an **experienced & enthusiastic** V_enue Booking Assistant_ to join our Touring and Events business division. Based in Southport on the Gold Coast, you'll be part of a modern office environment, with a young, energetic & extremely supportive team. This is a fast paced role, juggling multiple tours, events & festivals.

To be successful in obtaining an interview for this position, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following two skills:

- Experience working in event & or touring
- An established relationship with venues _(of all sizes, indoor & outdoor)_ around Australia.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the planning and booking of venues for local, national, and international tours for recording artists, DJ's etc
- Assist in the planning and booking of events for our medium to large (indoor & outdoor) events including, music festivals, tribute shows, special events etc
- Liaise with venues, suppliers, and artists to coordinate tour logistics
- Help manage tour budgets and financial records
- Support the team in preparing for DJ tours and outdoor festivals
- Provide on-site support during events and tours

**Requirements**:

- Passion & drive to want to work in the music industry.
- Experience in touring and/or events.
- Established network of venues & contacts.
- Experience working with internal & third party booking agencies such as Humanitix, Oztix & Tiketek.
- Above average organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise.
- Work autonomously & as part of a dynamic team.
- Experience in using a CRM database.
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Punctual with a high level of confidence and willingness to go that extra mile to be successful in this role.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current touring & event trends.
- Willingness to travel _(locally & interstate)_ with some tours/events requiring nights away.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 24 - 38 per week
