We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Maintenance Coordinator / BDM to join our team at Cladding & Roofing.
This role is pivotal in supporting the operational management and growth of our commercial roofing maintenance services.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance coordination, excellent leadership skills, and an understanding of commercial roofing systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordination and Supervision
Assist in the coordination of daily maintenance activities, ensuring efficiency and adherence to schedules.
Supervise maintenance teams on-site, providing guidance and support as necessary.
Collaborate with senior management to optimise service delivery and client satisfaction.
Client Relationship Management
Act as a primary point of contact for key clients, addressing enquiries and ensuring service delivery meets expectations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering long-term partnerships and repeat business.
Look for new opportunities to attract and retain new clients across various industries.
Technical Oversight
Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Conduct periodic quality assessments to uphold service excellence and identify areas for improvement.
Administrative Support
Assist in job assessment, quoting and resource allocation for successful maintenance projects.
Team Development
Mentor and train junior staff members, promoting professional growth and skill development.
Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience in maintenance coordination or a related field, preferably within the commercial roofing sector.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Sound knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and maintenance practices.
Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a construction or maintenance team.
Familiarity with industry standards and best practice for commercial roofing and safety protocols related to commercial roofing.
