**Job description**

Embrace Community Care is a registered disability service provider, who is running all over across Sydney area. we are looking for an Aged and disabled care worker who has experience and able to work in a good team. The work will be located in Merrylands and Kingswood area.

**The Role of a Disability Support Worker:.**

Professional disability support workers are well aware of their roles and responsibilities towards disabled people. you need to be able to provide assistance over your daily activities and help people to live happy and independent life.

You need to be able to do
- Assisting with personal care involves showering, dressing, eating, taking medicine, etc.
- To be able to Help participants over in-home daily activities like preparing meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), dishwashing, cloth washing, ironing, house cleaning.
- Facilitating therapies like practicing yoga and exercise.
- Take participant out for shopping, to libraries, cafeterias, cinemas and medical appointments.
- Helping participants to develop your communication skills by taking them to society meetings and social gatherings.
- Taking participant to park in the morning or evening to improve your social activities.
- Providing emotional and friendship support to help participant feel better.

Documents Required:
**first aid certificate**

**NDIS workers orientation module**

**Job Type**: Full Time 38 hours/week

Pay: $31.76 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus
- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Merrylands and Kingswood area, NSW

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Expected Start Date: ASAP.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $31.76 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
