**About the role**:
An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated and ambitious Accounts Payable Officer to join a large and highly reputable company on an initial 4-6 month contract with the opportunity to go permanent. The company is based in Lane Cove Business Park. Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced accounts payable officer who is eager to learn and utilise their current skill set.

**The Responsibilities**:
Your daily duties will include but not be limited to:

- 3-way matching
- Keep track of all payments and expenditures, including purchase orders, invoices and statements.
- Match Stock supplier invoices against Goods Receipts and flag variances to relevant team member.
- Ensure GRNI is kept at minimum aged balance.
- Manage AP Inbox, obtain approvals for invoice from relevant managers and respond to queries.
- Paying vendors by scheduling payment runs and responding to all vendor enquiries
- Bank Reconciliations for AP.
- Assist with foreign exchange payments
- Other ad-hoc responsibilites

**The successful applicant**
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable
- Experience using ERP system** SAP**:

- High attention to detail, excellent time management skills and a proactive approach.
