Overview Trading Analyst role at SBS Australia.
This is a full-time, ongoing Sydney-based role (hybrid) within the Pricing and Inventory team.
The role supports the Sales team and contributes to revenue outcomes across BVOD, Audio and Television, with responsibilities spanning pricing support, inventory management, reporting, data analysis and cross-functional collaboration.

We create value through Measurement, Intelligence and Delivery.The Role Reporting to the Digital Pricing & Inventory Manager, the Trading Analyst will be a key member of the Pricing and Inventory team, focusing on pricing and inventory across BVOD, Audio and Linear TV.
Responsibilities include pricing support, inventory management, reporting, data analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
A priority is supporting major sporting events to help achieve revenue targets.Key Responsibilities Be involved in daily BVOD, Audio and Linear pricing decisions guided by pre-established discount parametersProvide day-to-day support for the Digital Pricing and Inventory Manager and TradingInventory Management Assistance: learn to track inventory levels and usage; assist in maintaining accurate inventory recordsReporting Functions: assist in generating regular reports on pricing performance, inventory levels and sales metrics; coordinate contra/barter/trade credits with P&I/Finance teams and salesData Analysis: gain proficiency in Excel and other relevant tools; help compile and analyse data related to pricing and inventoryAbout You We are looking for someone who brings:3+ years' experience in a media sales environmentBachelor's degree (Business or Marketing preferred)Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholdersStrong data analysis and problem-solving skillsProficiency with Excel, Tableau and Microsoft OfficeFamiliarity with BVOD, Google Ad Manager, IBMS and other analytics tools is desirableApplicant Considerations As part of our recruitment process, SBS may review publicly available information online in line with privacy and anti-discrimination laws.
