**The Opportunity

Reporting to the General Manager Healthcare Strategy & Telehealth Services, this newly created role is responsible for the service delivery of Bupa Telehealth into the HI customer base.

In this role you will work across the business to enhance how health is delivered into the HI customer experience, as well as evolving the team to drive greater scale and impact.

You will be an experienced and engaging people leader who can lead and inspire a large team of employees.

**How will I help?**
- Create and inspire a high performing and largely clinical team with a passion for healthcare.
- Delivery of Bupa's telehealth services to the HI customer base. This includes negotiating and managing contracts with third party providers, as well as ensuring adherence to clinical governance, regulatory and quality requirements.
- Ability to handle complex analysis processes and develop solutions in consultation with others, including expert professionals.
- Identifying opportunities across the HI member health services in the Customer Health & Care team (Blua digital health, telehealth, healthcare programs) to deliver services in the most complementary and effective way.
- Work with other HI operational teams - the Healthcare Management and Domestic Retail Portfolio teams - to drive seamless and high-quality customer service.
- Legal and regulatory compliance, adherence to internal operating procedures together with the management of business risks is the responsibility of every Bupa employee.
- Ensure that Bupa Australia's Health & Safety policy and associated policies and procedures are effectively implemented to minimise risk and to provide employees with a safe working environment and safe systems of work.

**What do I need?**
- You will come from a healthcare background. You will be a strategic and commercial thinker, who is passionate about improving our customers healthcare experience.
- Tertiary qualifications or training in business management or related disciplines are an advantage.
- Experience managing third party commercial relationships including negotiating and developing contracts
- Ability to work collaboratively with and lead a diverse range of stakeholders including technical and functional specialists, operational and line managers.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A strong understanding of customer experience and customer centricity principles.
- Demonstrated experience leading high performing teams and able to create strong team cohesion and a commitment to coaching and development of teams to ensure they are set up to deliver extraordinary results.
