This role will be based in Sydney office.
This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.This role will be for an early career broker who is looking to improve their skill set across a range of insurance and non-insurance products for a variety of industries.
The candidate is required to be an organised self-starter who is motivated to proactively manage the interactions with our client as a part of a team and work to strengthen and grow account relationships.We will count on you to:Develop and maintain effective client relationships by understanding their needs and proactively responding to them.Implement renewal and broking strategies tailored to client requirements.Process billing requests and gather information for quotes efficiently.Build and maintain strong working relationships with insurers and assist in negotiations.Build and maintain strong working relationships with our overseas offices.Manage outstanding renewals, credit control, and necessary reporting for the client portfolio.Recognize and act on new business opportunities in a timely manner, introducing new products or broader policies as appropriate.What you need to have:Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification or higher.Clear and effective communication skills.Ability to work autonomously within a multi-skilled team.Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite and a demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly.What makes you standout:Willingness to go the extra mile for client satisfaction.Ambition to build a solid career foundation in the insurance industry.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team or autonomouteam:We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders.We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients and communities.Our scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being.AboutMARSH:Marsh, a business of Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC), is the world's top insurance broker and risk advisor.
