Understand requirements for a feature or component and deliver code to fulfil those requirements.
Deliver end-to-end solutions within the product portfolio across backend and frontend frameworks.Work with domain team members to ensure solutions are developed, coded, and configured (including reporting) to meet business requirements, following standard processes for certainty of outcome.Resolve defects and ambiguities in functional & technical design; stay abreast of current best practices and technologies.Write code using current programming languages and technologies; perform testing and debugging; install, test and maintain systems software.Own end-to-end delivery of features or capabilities within the product portfolio; modify and troubleshoot applications and programs.Prepare and maintain system and program documentation; interact with users to define system requirements and modifications.Design, code, test and install applications across multiple platforms; provide technical and leadership support to other developers in the team.What You'll BringDeveloped skills and knowledge on Django frameworkDeveloped skills and knowledge on Angular frameworkAdvanced understanding of Django REST Framework and REST/GraphQL APIsAdvanced understanding of Django ORMAdvanced understanding of Celery and RedisAdvanced understanding of Postgres databasesProficient with modern DevOps tools and utilities including GitLabProficient with containerisation technologies such as Docker and KubernetesProficient with Jira and Confluence7+ years' related experience in a relevant technical field7+ years' experience in Python programming and applications designStrong time management, prioritising, multi-tasking and organisational skillsAbility to build an industry-leading, customer-centric product delivery pipeline using toolingProactive in anticipating needs and delivering quality code with a focus on maintainability and performanceAbility to perform QA to identify, diagnose and resolve issues; troubleshoot and solve issues related to config, data, or codeExperience in working in a small, dynamic, collaborative teamWhy Join UsDatacom is one of Australia and New Zealand's largest suppliers of IT professional services.
