We are seeking a Program Manager to support on the road capacity planning and scheduling for Amazon Logistics. We strive to solve complex cost and cycle time optimization problems that no one has solved yet.
Key job responsibilities
- Create strategy and take actions to develop the delivery capacity with multiple stakeholders including Product, Technology, Marketing, Shipping & Delivery Services, Legal, PR, and Operations
- Analyze key metrics such as capacity planning accuracy and implement initiatives to drive improvements including new technology developments
- Optimize and standardize the delivery capacity planning process and assist in implementation of scheduling best practices and procedures to maximize planning efficiency and asset utilization
- Lead and coordinate large, complicated projects with multiple stakeholders
- Identify and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation
- Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for customers
- Analyze potential customer and financial impacts
- Identify ways to automate analysis through smarter software systems
- Prioritize projects based on their relevance
- Track realized savings and impacts, and communicate results with delivery station, regional, and corporate leadership
- This is an individual contributor role that will partner with internal stakeholders across multiple teams, gathering requirements and delivering complete solutions
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
