As the Senior Analyst - Investment Performance, you\'ll play a crucial role in delivering independent investment performance reporting and attribution analysis. You\'ll work directly with investment management and execution teams to provide valuable insights that drive strategic decision-making. This role could be based in Melbourne or Sydney.
Responsibilities
Deliver independent investment performance reporting and attribution analysis across portfolios, asset classes and investment options.
Develop and maintain performance measurement and attribution models; ensure the accuracy and integrity of performance databases.
Collaborate with investment managers on investment reviews and investment committee presentations.
Contribute to system and reporting improvement initiatives and support development of investment strategy.
About You / Qualifications
Significant experience in investment performance analysis and reporting with a strong understanding of attribution models and methodologies, including Fixed Income attribution.
Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements for superannuation fund investment reporting; working knowledge of complex financial instruments and their performance measurement.
Required technical skills: proficiency with investment platforms (e.g., Simcorp, Bloomberg, Factset), advanced SQL/Python, and experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities; deep understanding of superannuation investment structures.
