About the Role
- The Occupational Therapy student performs a range of clinical support activities and on the job skills development while engaged in formal full-time or part-time tertiary studies necessary to acquire the relevant entry level qualification (mandatory) for employment as a Health Practitioner in Queensland.
- Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
- Develop a clear understanding of the role and the roles of other professions, using this knowledge to appropriately support and contribute to consumer goals. Refer to and liaise with other care providers from other disciplines to achieve streamlined consumer care.
- Actively participate in professional and interprofessional meetings including case conferences and departmental meetings.
