We are seeking a Cleaning Supervisor GP to join Facilities Management, Administrative Division.The Cleaning Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring the consistency and quality of service provided by cleaning staff, contractors and client service officers.
This position involves activities associated with monitoring and improving the quality of cleaning services, reviewing the service delivery and taking appropriate action to resolve issues associated with cleaning contractors and staff performance.
This position reports to the Manager, Facilities Services, for career planning, development, and performance expectations.About UsQUT is a major Australian university with a global outlook and a 'real world' focus.

.What You Need To SucceedEducation, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to a degree in relevant field.Demonstrated ability to supervise and coordinate the work of others and establish effective working teams in order to achieve objectives.Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to plan tasks, set realistic time frames, develop priorities and achieve deadlines.Demonstrated computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and web-based applications, with proven ability to maintain records with a high degree of accuracy.Proven ability to liaise effectively and confidently with people at all levels, with well-developed oral and written communication skills.Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of relevant Queensland Workplace Health and Safety legislation together with experience in its application in the workplace.Life at QUTWe're Committed To Building a Culture That Fosters Connection Between People And Purpose.
