**About the role**
- We seek an experienced, enthusiastic, motivated and capable Scheduling Officer to join our passionate team.
- The primary focus of the Scheduling Officer is to effectively administer all aspects of rostering.
- Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Liaising with staff regarding availabilities, changes and/or updates to rosters through clear communication.
- Ensuring rosters are published accurately, cost effectively and in a timely manner.
- Assigning shifts to permanent and casual support workers whilst ensuring individual participant's needs are met.
- Cross-checking data and ensuring accuracy for invoicing and pays.
- Scheduling additional services, supports, appointments and meetings.
- Managing enquiries from and engaging with existing and potential participants, their families, advocates, members of the community, practitioners, therapists, other carers and service providers.

**About you**

You will have a positive 'can do' attitude and a passion for helping people. You'll be a problem solver who is quick to action requests and ensure participants have the supports and services they need, when they need them. You'll remain calm under pressure and take last minute changes in your stride.

**Essential**
- Minimum 2 years' experience in computerised rostering and scheduling services
- High level of computer literacy and the ability to adapt quickly to rostering software packages
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Ability to build relationships quickly
- Effective communication and literacy skills with a focus on attention to detail
- Sound judgement, flexibility and ability to work well under pressure
- Current NDIS Worker Check, National Police Check and Working With Children Check
- Valid Driver's Licence

**Desirable**
- Experience in all aspects of scheduling using QuickBooks Time (previously known as TSheets).
- Basic knowledge of the disability sector, in particular how the NDIS works and the supports it funds.
