About Us
The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state.
The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, equating to approximately 90 percent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible, and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.

About the Role
Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, SCP, the Contract Advisor will be responsible for the support contract management activities within the SCP division. Working under the guidance of the Contracts Manager and team, SCP, this role will support contract activities including new and innovative approaches.
Where appropriate, this role will assist with contract development, procurement activities, and stakeholder management, for new contacts which support the operations and program objectives of SCP.
The Contract Advisor will also support the facilitation of reviews and assist managing agreements between commercial, government, and non-government stakeholders, working closely with the Contracts Manager SCP and Procurement to ensure consistent procurement and contract management practices.
About You

**You will be required to**:

- Perform services necessary to support the operations of SCP and key business objectives in end to end contract management activities with a key focus on both established services contracts and ad hoc procurements.
- Provide authoritative advice and guidance on contract management practices, policies and processes to stakeholders, including peers, senior managers across jurisdictions, County Court Victoria and Court Services Victoria, ensuring best practice approaches are adopted and implemented.
- Act as a point of reference for contractual engagements within SCP and escalate any risk and/or issues to the Procurement and Contract Manager as required.
- Provide sound advice and support to stakeholders on the use of the Source to Contract system and other relevant systems.
- Lead and contribute to the preparation of Contract Management Plans, process, systems and documentation.
- Engage with and maintain high quality relationships with key stakeholders and business partners within the division, jurisdiction, Court Services Victoria and with supplier organisations to support effective service delivery and outcomes.
- Prepare complex and detailed reports as required on the status of contract activities.
